Artists interested in an online portfolio may contact The Lawrence Arts Center for details. Email: lacgallery@sunflower.com, or call the Lawrence Arts Center at 785-843-2787. After you have made arrangements with the Arts Center, you may submit your images and text directly by email to Al the web master at alarthur55@yahoo.com. Mac users occasionally have inexplicable problems sending attachments and should seek expert help if they haven't successfully done it before.
Up to 12 images representing your work should be submitted on a CD or sent by email directly to Al the web master as jpeg files with a maximum width of 600 pixels, and a maximum height of 450 pixels. Files should be named numerically starting from 1 and going up to 12, and should include the jpeg or jpg extension. You may alternatively give your images descriptive names such as red-barn.jpg. Please be concise and don't use spaces between words.
This list is a text file with the name of each piece and any other information about the work. The file may be created in plain text and included as a .txt, .rtf, or .doc file type attachment.
You may submit an artist statement, bio, resume, a picture of yourself, contact info, etc. Check out some of the other online portfolios to get an idea of what can be included.
You may link to other sites from any of your pages. Any URL's found in your text will be made into clickable links.
