Jennifer received Merit Scholarships from Chicago Art Institute, Minneapolis Art Institute, Parsons School of Design, Columbus School of Design and placed third in the Pratt National Talent Search.
Jennifer attended Parsons School of Design in New York, New York where she studied Fine Arts. She attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas where she earned a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. Jennifer has interned for Bill Schenk, a professional artist in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Jennifer also works as a freelance writer specializing in home and garden advice. Her work regularly appears in the Lawrence Journal World, the Kansas City Star and True West Magazine. She works out of her home in Old West Lawrence, Kansas.
