James Nedresky

James Nedresky is a freelance photographer, concentrating on outdoor, stock and landscape photography. He received his BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1978, studied photography and film making at The Pittsburgh Filmmakers from 1985 through 1988, and in 1989, he started commercial freelancing in Chicago, IL.

Moving to Lawrence Kansas from Chicago in 1994, his interest in the tallgrass prairie developed into a long-term personal photographic project; resulting in wide publication and print collection of his prairie images.

The recently released companion book to the PBS documentary film entitled "Last Stand of the Tallgrass Prairie", featured more than 70 of his images from this prairie project.

Jim now resides with his wife in Omaha, Nebraska.
