Elinor was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Kansas and Massachusetts. She graduated with a BFA in painting and printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1971. She is a full-time artist who focuses on creating images that express her experiences in nature. Her work is seen regularly in regional shows.
